The numbers first. Our 20-yard dumpster starts at $299 and our 14-yard starts at $249, each on a 3-day rental. If the project runs long, extra days are $20 apiece, and if you tell us partway through that you need more time, that's a normal phone call, not a problem. You pay for the dumpster at or before drop-off, card or cash both work, and veterans and first responders should ask about the discount when they call.
The word to pay attention to in those prices is "starting." Two things actually move a dumpster bill, and it's worth understanding both before you order from us or anybody else.
What you're throwing away
The first is weight. Disposal in this business is billed by the scale, so what your debris weighs matters more than how much room it takes up. A dumpster of old furniture and cardboard weighs a fraction of the same dumpster full of shingles or busted concrete.
We bill weight after pickup, once the load has actually crossed a scale, and Kyle goes over exactly how that works when you book so nothing on the final bill is a mystery. It's also the reason heavy material belongs in the 14-yard: dense loads have to stay small to stay legal on the road, which we covered in more detail in our size guide.
The practical takeaway is honest and simple. If your load is going to be heavy, say so on the phone. A two-minute description of the pile gets you a realistic picture of the total, not just the starting number.
Where the dumpster is going
The second factor is geography. We run about a 40-mile circle around Springfield, from Bolivar down to Highlandville and Marshfield out to Mount Vernon. Delivery inside the core of that circle is routine. Out toward the edges, in places like Stockton or Buffalo, the drive time is real and the routing matters, so call and we'll work out what fits. Every town we serve is listed on the service area page if you want to check yours.
Commercial jobs price differently altogether. A contractor who needs eight hauls a month on one site is a different arrangement than a homeowner's weekend cleanout, so commercial rates are quoted individually. Call for information, and if you need a dumpster long-term, we do that too. We've carried commercial accounts for years at a stretch.
Comparing quotes around Springfield
When you shop dumpster prices, make sure you're comparing the same thing. Ask every company the same three questions: what's the rental period, what happens on weight, and what does an extra day cost. A low headline price with a short clock and vague weight terms can pass a clear one in a hurry. Our answers are the ones above, and they don't change based on who's asking.
If you want a number for your actual project instead of a starting-at figure, call (417) 766-2029 and describe the job. Kyle will walk you through it, tell you which dumpster fits, and give you the full picture before anything gets scheduled. We appreciate every job we get around here, and we'd be grateful for the chance to earn yours.
